Sandy Bridge mobo for Ivy Bridge Processors..

will a H61 chipset (sandy chipset) work with an ivy bridge processor? M.work bah nah xa automatic even if wala pah na.update ang iyang bios? IE first release nga H61 to a newly released 1155 processors ie. g2020 (release date: 1st Quarter 2013) ?

^ yes, H61 will work on any Ivy Bridge CPU... but for H61 mobo's that were release before the IBs, you need to update its BIOS...

yes.. i was refereing to first release h61 chipset mobos.. so meaning if your unlucky enough to buy an old stock h61 that doesn't natively support Ivy bridge, then you can't use it automatically? because you can't update bios without a processor..

pwede ra ka huwan ug SB CPU sa imohang mga kaila para magamit during BIOS updating if ang mapalit nimo na H61 mobo belongs to the "Pre-IB" release...

kung dili ka sigurado e search sa manual o sa website sa mobo ug mo support ba ug 3rd gen. then it would be fine.

^ actually wala man ni nahitabo sa ako.a.. just for research purposes bah, incaso.. ang nka.hanggaw aning online manual downloads sa site sa manufacturers is they change man gud ang compatibility then butangan lang kung unxa nga bios version ang compatible ani nga processor.. lets say ang 1st revision nga h61, ilang butangan nga m.support ug g2020 sa ilang site nya ibutang lang ang bios version sa kilid.. then ang problem with this is, when buying a mobo from the store, you wont have an idea unxa ang bios version currently ang mobo nga paliton...can we have the opinions from somebody working in stores..unxa ang inyong gipangbuhat para ma.prevent ang incompatibility due to bios versions??..

Pwede ra man bisan dili gamitan ug sandy cpu. This is similar to previous x3x and older such as the 965 chipsets supporting wolfdale cpus.
