    Default Pwede mag pa tabang - Relocating from Manila to Cebu - Permanent


    Cebu is included in the Top 10 Asian Cities of the Future. I am interested to be part of it. Hingi sana ako ng tulong regarding relocating to Cebu permanently. Currently I need to find a Lot or House & Lot but no idea where is the most suitable place.

    Preferred criterias:
    1. No high-end due to limited budget but at the same time no row house.
    2. Sizeable lot area of between 100-300 sqm
    3. Not too far from Universities (no idea about travel time via jeep/bus public transport)
    4. So many area/town/city, I do not know which one has a good neighborhood.
    5. Beside the dialect, what are the tips you can give so that we will have a seamless relocation experience with the beautiful and happy people of Cebu?
    6. Is the Geohazard Maps Now Accessible in Four Websites | Cebu Realtors - Geo hazard map info for Cebu still correct?

    Mura lang naman rentahan dito sa Cebu. May makikita kang mga 15k 2 floor na townhouse. Meron din bahay less than 10k. Will get back to you with more details soon.

    marclouie, thanks po sa reply. matagal pa naman lipat pero planning to purchase na the lot or house & lot before the prices start to escalate sky high.

    Magkano ba ang budget mo to purchase house and lot? Maraming house and lot na affordable pero medyo malayo..

    hi zritchie, welcome to cebu! hehehe. Im from Manila and nakarelocate na ako here 6yrs ago...going 7yrs. You will love Cebu I'm sure. About the location of your house and lot, it will depend on your lifestyle. If you want a place very accessible to anything, choose Cebu City. Kung slow paced naman, live in Mactan. If in between, choose Mandaue. Mejo heavy ang traffic sa City esp on rush hours. So you have to decide first where you will work/study so you can save on travel time everyday. I have so many tips I want to tell you about relocation but let me know what else you need. Btw, just to give you an idea, we bought a house here last year lang, in Mandaue, in a nice new village, 80sqm, 2.6M. Do you have relatives here?

    i suggest you but simple house and lot in Camella homes in talamban, just 15 minutes away from USC ata.. and 30 mins away from Ayala Center and SM.. 1 hour from Downtown area.

    use it to your advantage
    get all or post the ideas presented to you
    so that more people can give you the positives and negatives

    im sure a lot of realtors have pm'd you about offers hehehe

    i would suggest get a house somewhere in mandaue
    or better yet just plan on renting a house for year
    get a feel for the city and maybe your preferences
    perhaps you could also add in a few more details o the considerations

    size of family
    school needs (which university)
    area where you will work
    mode of transpo (if you have a car/motorcycle)

    RMP, looking forward sa mga tips mo. plan to relocate my family. Sa Mactan Island ba kamusta naman ang noise pollution (airport)? Ano pala area prone to flooding and may area ba prone to landslide dun sa upper portion of cebu city,mandaue area? Yung 2.6M house and lot or house lang? Medyo open ako for smaller than 120 sqm basta within the city sana near or strategically located within university schools. My target sana is to secure kahit lot lang muna or if house & lot, kahit delapidated na ang house basta maganda location...
