How has your mother influence your spiritual life?

In line with our celebration of Mother's Day this Sunday, I wanna know your thoughts on how has your mother influence you in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. My mother is unbeliever, but her character of being patient, hardworker and slow to anger really has a good effect on us her children. She may have not known Jesus in a very personal way but her being such a loving mama has helped me know my Saviour in a very early age because she always allow us to attend bible class, everytime some bible student visit our place. Now that im a grown up, I am the one who always drag her to church... Happy Mothers Day Ma!

In many things, she influenced me.
That is why i strive to look for the truth because of her.
I love her and I'm thankful to God that she is my mother.
God gave her to me.

i'll put it this way: my mother is the very foundation of my faith (although i'm not exactly a model catholic). i don't often go to church, but when she says i have to go because it's my birthday or something - it's done. in many of our discussions about life or my future she keeps saying God will reward all my hard work. whenever something good or fortunate happens, i see her offer a prayer of thanks and she says God really does watch over us. it's because of her I believe in God at all.
