Default Saudi Arabia could end beheadings 'due to shortage of swordsmen'

Washington, Mar 11 (ANI): Saudi Arabian authorities have planning to drop public beheadings as a method of execution, a report has said.
Saudi newspaper Al-Watan reported in its Sunday edition that the ministerial committee is considering fatal shootings as an alternative.
The move to end beheadings may be coming due to a shortage of swordsmen, reports Ahram online.
There have been calls in the kingdom for replacing public beheadings with lethal injections carried out in prisons, CBS News reports.
Saudi Arabia is the only country in the world where a death sentence results in beheading in a public square.
The kingdom executes anyone convicted of murder, armed robbery, rape and trafficking in drugs, the report said.
It has executed 15 people so far this year, 76 last year and 79 in 2011, it added. (ANI)

Not so ferocious than the former
I guess. But the ravishing authority is there,
perhaps life after all is worthless if its purpose is to
    deter itself to attain betterment.

Does beheading in the first place
justifiable both in the laws of the land
    and in religious laws.

Saddest thing is no Islamists will ever tell you the truth about the intimate relation of beheading in Islam! Following the recent beheadings of Americans and other foreigners in Iraq and Saudi Arabia, the U.S. press turned to various experts to identify a precedent in the Quran or Islamic history for this kind of gory murder. Look what were the answers by some erudite but hypocritical Mullahs! Imam Muhammad Adam El-Sheik, co-founder and chief cleric at the Dar Al Hijrah Mosque at falls Church, VA told to the USA today: “Beheadings are not mentioned in the Koran at all". Yvonne Haddad, a professor at the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University has agreed with the above Imam and added (to New York Newsday): "There is absolutely nothing in Islam that justifies cutting off a person's head.” You go ask any Imam or mullah in the US, you will come up with the same lies again and again.
