this is nothing new. wait 'til you grab a local daily here and browse thru topics, this is very common. you can't imagine how people file one lawsuit after another. it's kinda like playing the lotto, waiting for the one that hits the jackpot.

Last year, I sent my (now ex) bf's favorite pair of pants to Gene's Laundry (Guadalupe) for dry cleaning.  I had it sent there because I didnt want our labandera to ruin it as it was his favorite and they were pretty expensive.  Hala ka...they managed to lose it.  It took forever for them to pay me back (which didnt even cover half of the Linea Italia bill that we paid to replace the missing pants) and I had to call them several times until they finally gave in.  Pakonsensya pa ko sa attendant that she was going to pay for it with her own money and that she didnt have enough to feed her family And when I asked to speak with the manager or owners...hmm...they were all out of town for weeks! tsk tsk tsk talk about "Satisfaction Guaranteed" hehehe

I understand how it feels to lose something u care about due to careless attendants, but geez, $65M for a pair of pants....ridiculous!
