mga bai naa koy MSI p965 neo f, ang bios nako v1.5 pero naay 1.8 na gani karon sa MSI website angay ba na mo update ko ani? maka boost ba sa performance? kinahanglan ba jud na everytime naay update sa bios update sad ta?

yup its better to update your bios if there is an available. Just be sure you know how to update. It might crash your system.

Not necessarily, if you are happy with the stability of your current system and its not giving you any issues, then the manufacturer would usually recommend that you not upgrage.

But as an enthusiast, hmmm, you wouldnt be one if you wouldnt ;-D There is usually a listing of what changes theyve made on that bios ver, check it out and see if is worth it

ya ang MSI ga email nako base sa ako gihatag nila na info sa detalye sa ako mga specs dili naman sila advise nako na update, wala man pod koy poblima my pc is practically running to its best and stable too.
mahadlok pod ko mo overclock kay basin ma pansit. regarding sa bios its easy for me much more if MSI kai gamit lang ko live update.

i'm using the same mobo bro (MSI P965 Neo)...what i've noticed is that in bios versions above 1.5, the maximum fsb is increased with a max of 500...bios v1.5 and below only has the fsb limited at 333....so basically, if you dont overclock, dont update your bios...

bai kennruss, di bitaw ko overclock, default ra gyud ni ako, kai mag ilis napod ta HSF, unya more on office task man ra pod ko karon but sometimes mag edit ko movie, edit photos, design posters...aw mao ra d i na ato ma gain kung mo update ta na ma 500fsb nato na kuyawa ana hehehe hadlok ko ana....so far wala ko prob, ang ako lang gi update ang drivers, jmicron,lan,audio ug intel inf utility and it works fine..
bai ako gamit kana sa jmicron na sata port kusog baya no. asa nimo saksak imo HD?

^^lisod na abton ang 500fsb bro...so far ako nakit-an na reviews about overclockability ani na mobo is around 400fsb ra sila kutob... i can reach 372fsb lang gani...

wa ko nag gamit sa jmicron na sata port bro...i've read na mas hinay daw na nga port..i personally dnt know if its true or not..i havn't tried connecting my sata hd sa jmicron na port...i'm using the purple sata port...

salamat bai ha sa info, pero gamit gihapon ka jmicron driver para sa imo IDE na mga optical drive, sa karon ako gamit sa jmicron sata port man, naka suway pod ko gamit ICH8 kana ba upat ka buok na intel ga drive,preha ra man bai wa man ko nakita deprencya, kung gamit gud ka sa jmicron na sata port sa device manager o sa bisan unsa nga system info ang imo hard disk kay SCSI na kay kung sa ICH8 kai IDE imo drive unless cguro kung mag raid ko pero wa pako kasuway ug duha ka HD bai nya ako gi raid, bahin sa overclocking bai ga ilis ka HSF?

^^yup..i replaced the stock hsf of my e6300 and bought the coolermaster eclipse hsf...but actually, there's no need na to replace it if you want to overclock..ok ra ang stock hsf sa c2d maski mag ovrclock ka..

aw ok bai salamat sa info ug advice...e suway lang nako ni usahay ug overclock testingan lang hehehe 333fsb kay 667mhz man ako ram so 1:1ratio
