    An FB post from my friend 12 hours ago in that area as she was travelling from Davao to CDO:

    "10mins after we passed Manolo Fortich, NPAs attacked policemen. To slow down response to area, we were running behind a truck throwing nails along the road.. Perteng traffic -- biktima sad mis suyak sa dalan. Thank God, suyak ug traffic lang among na abtan and we're back on the road again."

    mindanao will never be peaceful...even in davao...naa man gyuy masagol gud...naa pa gyud daghang extremists dihang dapita...

    Depende kung unsa na Davao imung pasabot bai, Kung Davao Del Norte daghan jud ug NPA didto, samot na sa ComVal, pero sa Davao City mismo walay NPA, ug kanang mga Abu Sayaff, MILF, MNLF, sa Western Mindanao lang na.

    In fact mas delikado pa diri sa Sugbo kay daghan kaayog kriminal, walay ginapili ang kriminal, ang mga NPA sa Bukidnon mga police og army ray target, ang mga kriminal diri sa sugbo maski kinsa lang ang target, bata, tiguwang, babae. tsk tsk tsk!

    Dili man gud tibuok Mindanao ang gubot. 24 years na akong papa sa Del Monte but not once naay nanghilabot sa Camp Phillips ug uban pang campo sa Del Monte. Nilikoy lang jud ang ulo sa NPA.
