You can start by going to this pages:
Official Google Webmaster Central Blog and subscribe to their Youtube channel at Google Webmasters - YouTube

It is important to know what is their new algo and adapt to it and usually they put new info on these links. Also, do Whitehat SEO.

I find it hard to analyze Google's algorithm. In my part, google is important as 80 percent of the traffic comes from this search engine. Starting atong Panda ug Penguin Update, naglibog na jud q unsa basis sa Google sa pag rank sa website, other than relevance sa content ug whatsoever.

Do basic SEO lang Boss Cire.
Nya do backlinking regularly like everyday, or once a week. Basta do it regularly, ayaw hunong.
Take note lang jud, dili na mo-rank-up dayon imong site in just one day.

Make sure your website is User Friendly, dali i navigate, full of unique contents/info and not ADS - limit ads on the website. Apply On-site SEO. Google SEO Starter Guide still applies -http://static.googleusercontent.com/external_content/untrusted_dlcp/www.google.com/en//webmasters/docs/search-engine-optimization-starter-guide.pdf

For Off-site SEO, you can do Article Submission(Squidoo, Hubpages, etc), Search Engine Submission, Directory Submission like DMOZ, RSS Submission, etc.

There are still more info you can get from the web, so you can do research as well.

First thing first - Make sure you choose the right keyword for your website.
You can use Google Keywords Tool, it is free.

kanang crawlers sa google, or kana iyang mga bots , e read pud na niya tanang links jud sa imong site? then analyze ang relevance every link?

Yes not just links but all contents, mao importante nga makasabot ka unsaon pag implement ang On-site SEO sa imong website.
