DmC Devil May Cry Reboot (PC/XBOX360/PS3)

Personal experieance, I wasn't excited when I bought the game as much as I was about Devil May Cry 4. When finally got some time to kill I tried playing the game.

Here are my inputs:

Graphics: At first sight the graphics is okay, well better than DMC 4 I like the painting like graphics of the game. It is to be expected from unreal engine.

Setting: I like the setting of the game compared that of DMC4. I like all the environments of all DMC games well except 4. They really did a good job showing demonic environment.

PLOT: Can't tell haven't finished the game yet.

Character: Still nothing beats the old badda$$ dante especially DMC 3 Dante. The new one okay.

Controls: Its like DMC3 all over again, button mashing! And with the HOLD+BUTTON MASHING! Its insane, I can't think of what combo I will do and should do unlike DMC 3 and 4 where I could plan do properly execute my moves. Controls needs some time to learn atleast there is the training mode, where you can practice your combo.

OVERALL: ?/10 can't give a proper rating yet.

P.S I have always been a DMC fan.

My kid loves DmC and this is the reason why we bought this game.
For me the new engine is better than i expected. I'm using the PS3 version and so far I'm still hooked.

OT: I like the free dmc t-shift and iphone case better :P

Graphics and Gameplay-wise, expecting it to be better since latest installment ni. What I think is how they "rebooted" the franchise. Never was a fan of the twilight look but I'll still play the game as a DMC fan. Maybe later when the price drops na. I'm still put off how they "killed" the old Dante and is now trying to replace it with this new Twilight version.

Except for the characters and such, I'll give the graphics and gameplay a two thumbs up.

i haven't finished DMC 4 and based on the reviews of this game (DMC Reboot), it's a bit different from the previous installment.

I'd probably play this game if I have a chance but not really looking forward to it. For me, 1 and 3 are the best.

So finally got deeper into the game.

STORY: I should give it a soild 9/10. I should be honest about this, is that the story of the previous installment is going no where. I could not see where the story would be going.

Another thing demons in this game are hellish! compare to DMC 4 (which I also like) which is more like of a fantasy kind of demon, in the reboot, they'll scare and creeps you out, you could also wet your pants if you're scared enough. hahahahaha

Finally get the hang of doing juggles. These demons are so dead to me. hahahaha.

I like the old Vergil and Dante. both of them are bada$$ and could kick some a$$. It was great that they did the reboot, because of the story is going nowhere and the order of the game is out of place but change dante and vergil that's a capital sin for the game. Because of Dante and Vergil are the icon of the game. The calm vs the sarcastic.
