snake cage and heating

guys, i just wanna ask,
do we still need a heating device in a snake cage?

for example a ball python. and we all know that ball python came from west africa, the temperature in west africa is just the same here in philippines (ive been there in west africa for 6 months) and considering we are a tropical country with a humidity of around 60%.

i know heating is nessary for digestion and etc.. but considering the natural heat in philippines.

can u still have a ball python without having a heating/basking area in the cage considering we are in philippines?

no bro its not needed naman. ^^ we raised and bred bps here in cebu with out using any fancy equipments

well i bought a thermometer, and my readings inside the bin is around 30c at morning and around 24c (lowest temp) at night time.
some1 told me when i visited him yesterday to buy some mice (he is located in cabancalan, i know u know him! =) ) told me that it is not really necessary unless ur bp is not eating or other related issues =)

anyways i bought a heater, and the undertankpad heats the location at 38c, its a zoomed 8watts h.pad,
i dont wanna used it anymore cause my bp may have burn issues, i dont have the money yet for the thermostat (2.4k)

and i want to stick a lot of wires in the cage, and i find unnecessary as i cant see any trouble w/ my current setup. let the nature do its work regulating the heat =)

maybe ur livin in northern hemisphere, that y it is cold.
