Hello Guys,

1. Study your opponent. Most wrestlers have a signature move. They will try to set you up for it throughout the match. Study this move and figure out your opponent's "tells" that indicate his signature move is coming.

2. Devise a counter move. When your opponent springs his signature move he exposes himself in some way. Figure out how to exploit this. Since you know your opponent will attempt to spring his signature move, you can count on this opening.

3. Calculate how you match up with your opponent. Figure out where you have the advantage and disadvantage. Does your opponent have better strength, stamina, take down technique or finishing moves? If you are at a clear disadvantage in any category, then stay away from it. If he is stronger, avoid a muscle match; if he has more stamina, finish him early; if he is a great finisher, stay on your feet.

4. Score early. If you are ahead then your opponent will have to play catch up. Look for opportunities to exploit your opponent's weaknesses and rack up points first. After that you can stall your way to victory or let him tire against your defense before finishing him.

5. Practice deception. Expect your opponent to scout you as well. If he is expecting your signature move then change it. Make him believe that you are employing it then change it up to counter his counter move. You can tell when your opponent is waiting for something. Make him think it is coming then shut him down.

Thanks and Regards
