Default Pls Help Me Choose a 39, 40, or 42 LED TV

LED TV nga 39, 40 or 42 inches.

    Mga contenders are:

    Sa Ayala stores ni:

    Devant 42itv600 - 25,000 no freebies
    Devant 39itv600 - 21,000 no freebies
    Prestiz - 42D600k - 22,200 no freebies
    Toshiba 40 PU200ep- 24,990 no freebies.

While temptedko sa Devant, hadlok lang ko sa iya quality....on the other hand Prestiz is a brand nga karon pa ko kadungog....ang Toshiba kay known brand but ingon sila 1 year warranty ra....

But, for now gusto some imputs here....

Kung nag plano ka nga ipa Cable imong connection and your space is big enough, go for bigger screens. In my experience, free air channels don't look pretty on wide screens. Kung gamay pud imong space, malibat ka sa kadako sa screen -- not a worthwhile experience

Limit your choices to Samsung and LG. Same warranty ra gihapon parehas sa malls.

I am also eyeing on LG 42LS5700. Tag 31K sa manila

ayaw kabalaka anang devant. its german tech and i think singapore ang gabuhat ana. good brands na bag-o lng naka capture ug market that is why wala na gi-sell sa barat nga mga stores, but known dagko na appliance centers like metro or sm. i dont thnk these stores will also wanted to compromise their names. i am a devant user kato ila lcd 32" for 3years naman cguro, la pa jud nadaut (tok2x sa kahoy ).

Been to SM, and here are the other contenders:

    Skyworth LED 39" - 39E26- 18,995 (no freebies)
    Sanyo 42" LED - LE42K700 - 19,999 ( no freebies) but only 1 year warranty.

From research in the net, more particularly, PinoyDVD, they say much better ang Skyworth than Devant....

More incline ko sa Skyworth....good decision kaha ni

naa pud koy Devant nga gamay (18" man guro toh)... ok man, though wah pay tuig ni nako but i find their build quality better than skyworth...

on the other hand, i prefer samsung or LG only these days... other brands seem to just play "catch up" with these 2 korean giants...

sa among balay sa province i bought them 32" samsung series 5 smart tv...

    Toshiba.

Currently have LG and daghan supported formats for movies when playing from external drive.
But as I have researched, it seems Toshiba supported more movie formats than LG.
And also, I based my decision to choose LG because my use-case in viewing movies is through external drives.
Download lang ko from torrent, transfer to external hdd drive, then plug my external usb drive to TV.
