wala pa ko ka own og ps3. but i think i can answer that based in my experience from past consoles and i hav my present xbox 360 slim.

    follow up question.
    1. unsa na imo ps3? fat? slim? o super slim?
anyway basta ang fat kusog mo init labi na dli air conditioned imo room then long duration imo game time.

    answers.
    1. u can use rag (trapo) or blower. labi na kana sa portable vacuum? yup. that should be enough to blown off the dust.

    2. alang2. ikaw pa tawo walay kaligo. kailangan jud limpyo hehehe

    3. ok rana. ang hard disk gani naai metalic disc sa sulod walay kuha2. cd drive pa kha hehehe.

    4. that's not true. that is TUO2x (stupid belief) sa mga walay alamag sa electronics. haha. i have a ps1, dreamcast, sega saturn which is seldomly use and all of them are still working til now. they are all disc drive system of course.

    5. ok rman. that should have enough space. ang imo concern lang kai you need a cooling system. labi na long duration imo gameplay up to 4 to 8hours per day. such as air conditioning, electric fan, or third party cooling accessories na sold separately. but if you have a super slim then 3 hours or less lang imo game duration per day. ok ra wala. hehe.

    1. Keep your house clean. Regularly dust off areas that are prone to accumulation of dust, especially near where your PS3 is.

If you know how to, it’s good to open your PS3 every once in a while and clean it’s internals. Only use proper tools for cleaning: canned air, vacuum cleaners/ blowers which has mild pressure, different sizes of paint brush with long and soft bristles, Q-tips, are some of the tools you can use. DO NOT BLOW ON IT.

This is fairly easy, but only do this if you are confident and you know what you are doing.

    2. Regularly check the ventilation holes on your PS3. Clean if necessary. Always keep them dust free. Good air circulation means better heat dissipation.

You don’t have to open your PS3 regularly for dust cleaning. Only do it, say, every 1 or 2 years.

    3. No, it’s okay to leave a disc on the drive. But if are sure you won’t be playing the same game when you use your PS3 next time, it’s better to take out the disc. There’s no point in letting the drive spin the disc and read it when you won’t be playing the game. This has obviously little impact in prolonging the drive’s/ lens’ life, but a little effort may help in postponing the death of a SHITTY drive/ lens.

    4. Not true at all. But if you won't be using it for a long time, it’s much better to store it inside it's box/ wrap it in plastic so dust won't accumulate on the PS3. Also, spiders.

    5. Curtains? Does it mean your PS3 is near a window? If it is indeed in front of a curtain near a window, I’d advise rearranging you setup. Curtain may be blown by the wind and may cover the vents on your PS3 or may topple your PS3 (if you have heavy curtains). It’s also not good to have a console near a window.

This applies to all consoles, of course.
