why recommend this shop, akoa digicam na canon ixus 130 which i bought pa sa gawas. Naguba then ako gipa-ayo sa service center sa canon sa may salinas drive, lahug. Giingnan lang ko na guba na daw ako mainboard ug optical lens. So ila recommendation is alisdan ug mainboard ug optical lens with quotation of more than 10,000 including parts & services.


Nangita ko second opinion sa allen's repair shop. Ila gitan-aw, nitawag dayon sa supplier kung naa ba available na spare parts. I was charge for only 2,500 dala na tanan. After 1 day nitawag nako si allen. Ok na boss imu digicam. Ang guba ra ang flex sa zooming.

Sulit ra kaayo ang serbisyo kumpara sa service center sa canon nga dritso hopeless recommendation.

Customer rako ani nga service center...wala ko comission or anything madawat sa ilaha.

I second the motion on this one. Allen has been my camera technician for many years and almost all of my photographer friends too. He offers the best service at the best price. Bisan pa ug ug lens na grabi na ka moldy ug murag wala na pag-asa ky kaya na niya.

I have also had a similar experience with Canon service center with my Canon A540 a long time ago. Mao jud na ila ingon na mainboard ug lens ang problema pero pag adto nako ky Allen ky capacitor ra diay. the capacitor was only 400 pesos ang Allen charged 150 for labor. a big thumbs DOWN for lousy Canon service techs!

Yep, I vouch for this guy, Allen. Actually there are three of them that's worth visiting for a second opinion should you feel that the Canon service center is screwing you up. There's Danny in Sampaguita Suites (formerly Belvic), Yul in Mabini St., right across Shamrock and Allen in Osmena Blvd, across Unitop.

The three have very different personalities. Allen is like a moody artist. Danny is suave and Yul is the cowboy/prankster. It is funny but if one of them can't do the job, the other can. All of them are friends of ours but we customers can't really figure out who's the best of the three. Allen, often times, is the most affordable. But Yul sometimes charges surprisingly low.

Go visit these camera amigos. The more you hang out with them the lower they'll charge you. But of course there is a caveat to friendship. Since they see you often and charge you low your equipment will often be last in the fixing line. But still when you compare this situation to the expensive and slow service of Canon you would feel these guys are heaven sent.

Bro, ang shop ni Allen na jud located inside Market Center, building across Metro Gaisano & Unitop.
