Need help.

I need to find Goth/New Wave music for my Vampire the Masquerade game.

Can you help me out?

I need something that sounds dark and haunting (but modern). Some of the nicest songs I found are:

1) Love Song for a Vampire (Anne Lennox, soundtrack of Bram Stoker's Dracula)
2) My Immortal (Evanescence)
3) Selected Enya songs

If you find some Goth music, can you tell me what artist and where can I buy the Audio CD?

hey, where do you hang out? i play Vtm and other rpg. maybe i know you or maybe we have mutual friends.. hmmm i dont know a lot of people who play rpg so thats cool. anyway, i have a CD its called the succubus club, it has songs for all the different clans. it has cruxshadows, bella morte, kristeen young, etc you should go get it, they sell it online. search on google for succubus club, around 14-15 bucks, CHEAP! =)

Hmm....I don't think we've met coz' we play in my house. Every Sunday, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. I've been STing Vampire for quite some time already. Wana join?

I also play AD&D, 3rd ed D&D, Warhammer, Battletech and of course Vampire (my favourite).

Usually, when I play RPG, I usually play "theme" music to invoke the mood of the game. It adds to the excitement and helps players "get into" the game more deeply.

Yeah, the sucubbus club is a great CD. I've already ordered on-line when I saw your post.

oh, ive played ad&d for as long as i can remember, i didnt find 3rd ed very interesting, but i would like to try it. ive played and/play Rifts, Vtm, Mage:the ascension, Star wars, werewolf the apocalypse, thrash, fuzion, mekton, battletech, and cyberpunk 2020 (very cool game)

Hi Lady Death.

Same here. I don't find 3rd ed interesting because it's munchie.

I know most of the systems you mentioned except Starwars, thrash, and fuzion.

Evanescence was very nice. There was one time that we were playing a scene where my female character, a Lasombra vampire, killed her best friend after succumbing to frenzy. The Embrace failed. While we were roleplaying the tragedy, the song "My Immortal" came to play.

All the players were stunned while I described the actions of the Lasombra. I described her feeling of loneliness and her great love for friend. The tragedy fits perfectly to "My Immortal" that when the song finally stopped. All of us were breathless and speechless. We have to stop the game for 15 minutes to gather ourselves back from the magic of the song.

Some of the songs we play are selections from Enya and Enigma, Smashing Pumpkins, soundtrack from several movies, Metallica and some other songs.

I'll be expecing the CD within this week. Crossing my fingers.
