I think most people have a natural desire to feel close to other human beings, and a loving relationship is pretty much the ultimate expression of that.

I'm in a relationship because I love my boyfriend and he loves me and it makes us happy to be close and share our lives with each other.

I am in a relationship because he showed to me that I can be really loved so much! I think the main reason for it is the GENUINE LOVE we have for each other and it makes me HAPPY!!!

i am in a relationship bec. i fell in love..i never foresaw it to happen but i'm glad it came later in my life bec. having it sooner...would have seen myself married earlier, hehe...seriously, i was able to enjoy my single life with girlfriends often, hehe..

the perks: reciprocated love..you have a bestfriend and lover in one package!

The relationship evolves, your plans evolve. Most sensible people aren't thinking about marriage on first dates. As a good relationship evolves, longer term commitment and eventually marriage can come into the picture.

I don't think that it should come into the picture too soon. You should take some time to have fun and get to know the person.

If you have been in a relationship for a year, are close to marrying age and you are the marrying type, then you probably want to start asking: "is he or she the one"? If the answer is clearly no, then it may be time to move on.
