... heheheh
Let me start with my experience, my first was with Galaxy mini rooted and upgraded from Android 2.2 (froyo) to Android 2.3.4 (gingerbread)... sadly I lost the phone so I have to get a new one...
Second experience is with
Galaxy S I9000 running
froyo still (2.2) and upgraded to Android 2.3.6
Gingerbread but I did'nt root it... I followed instructions from an android website and was a happy camper when my phone booted... Have been using it since then and it only froze on me 1 or 2 on a 5 month period... now I'm planning to root it and upgrade it to ICS Android 4.0.4...
