How do I get wireless internet for my laptop?

I have had this Dell laptop for a year now and have been getting by with Wifi and picking up my neighbors unsecured networks for internet. This procedure is so slow and not dependable at all. How do I get my own internet for my laptop for home use? What should I do/get first? Who are good providers? Do I even need a provider if I get a router or whatever it is?

go for pldt and request for their wireless modem/router. or it's up to you, you can also go with globe. it depends on your location.

Hi there, if you don't have any other devices (pc, wifi phones, ) that will need internet connection. You can go with USB broadbands. PROs: since you are using laptop which is mobile, you can bring your laptop and the usb broadband anywhere that has signal from the provider. CONS: you might not have good connection if your location doesn't have a good signal from the provider.

apply lang ug wireless connection sa PLDT..tag 999 ilaha monthly with home phone nana..wifi nana sya..mao na among gamit sa balay.we have 4 laptops..paspas ra ang connection..pwede ra pud ka sa imo phone mo log in.
