What kind of Government?

If you had the power to change the political system of the Philippines, what kind of government would you like to have?

Just imagine yourself being one of the founding fathers of this country and anything is possible...what would you want it to be?...the laws...the educational system...policies....anything

lol...come on. pati ba naman ang type of government arbitrary? dba ang common goal sa government kay for the "good of the state"? why not start with that? kay of course a necessity of a government is its people man so you also have to consider its people...think of a government that will LAST and has no loopholes...

Para nako, sakto na ang Presidential system. Ni work out man ni nga system since World War II. Ramos government work under Presidential system.

In the end any system will do basta naa lang gyud disiplina, patriotism ug morals ang mga tawo.

presidential is good, but it didnt work out for us. Simply because, we filipinos ourselves doesn't cooperate. There are lots of good and concerned citizens though, but we cannot simply deny that we have this "crab mentality". Our leaders craves for power, perhaps for our people, but more for themselves. What about we try a new system. What's good in federalism is that governance is distributed and segmented down to a lower scope. In this case, there will be a distributed voice all over the country. If this doesn't work out, then we'll just cross the river when we get there. Just love your country, and love your leaders. Don't just love yourselves.

The way i see it, it's more of increase in local corruption. Stronger ang kapit sa leaders. Better if change of leaders completely. Unseat those in power and put in fresh ones who are untainted by corruption. There is still hope for the Philippines, but those who have the dream and capability to act are hindered and disillusioned by those who are in power.

You don't have to love the leader literally. Just a mere respect will be enough.
