FEATURES:
It is always a challenge as a biker when caught in the middle of crossings and junctions on how to communicate the intention to cross or to turn. This cheap solution addresses these challenges and offers additional safety on the road.


SIGNAL LIGHT
Turn the LEFT or RIGHT signal light on with a slide of a switch. When toggled, the front control unit emits a sound to create audible signal to other motorists.

TAIL LIGHT
Can be switched on during nighttime and switched off during daytime.

FRONT INDICATOR LIGHT
This is not a headlight but just an indicator light at the front.

HORN
Electronic horn with tone selection. This differentiates from the traditional bell used on bikes.

BRAKE LIGHT
When mounted on the brake (mechanical disc or caliper), the switch closes the circuit and lights up the tail light. This as an optional feature of the unit.

MOUNTING INFORMATION
The front control unit (FCU) which houses the horn, front indicator lights and switch (Tail light / Signal light) has to be mounted on the handlebar. The switches and horn button should be accessible to the driver's hand. The Tail/signal light unit (T/SLU) has to be mounted on the seat post. This unit houses the 2 AA batteries (not included). A wire runs from the front control unit to the tail/signal light unit. another wire runs from the tail/signal light unit to the brake switch.

* should the mounting bracket be too small to use, you can use standard bike brackets for the handlebar and seatpost

@Mardon: Yes, it can be mounted to v-brake. You just need to readjust your brake cable to accommodate the switch. Refer to the brake switch mounting below.


Adjust the brake cable such that there will be enough pressure to the switch when the brake engages. Careful not to apply too much pressure to the switch as the material is plastic and may break.

Installation is simple. The Front Control Unit (FCU) is mounted on the left hand side of the handle bar. The Tail/Signal Light Unit (T/SLU) is mounted on the seat post. The brake switch is mounted on the rear brake caliper. Wire from the FCU to the T/SLU runs with the brake cable for the rear brake. Cable from the T/SLU to the brake switch runs from the seat post to the rear brake caliper. You can "housekeep" the wires anyway you want either by cable tie or tie wrap.

The photo below illustrates the installation sample with wires left dangling to show the connectivity.

For those who are asking on how to mount the brake switch to a disc brake system, you can fix the switch on the exposed cable that runs from the brake housing to the brake lever. make sure that the lever and the housing is not applying too much pressure to the switch, otherwise, the switch arm may break.

I will be uploading a photo of the sample installation next time.
