Default Monitor with VGA out to Video Card with HDMI, possible?

Suway ko reseach it appears nga vga is analog while hdmi kay digital, does this mean na imposible nga magmit nako ang cable nga vga to hdmi? tia

Did you change the primary display out in your bios from your onboard graphics to your video card?

nope dili ma digital.. since your monitor is analog, analog lang iya display. In theory the HDMI to VGA adaptor translates the digital signals to analog.

in theory pwede na, im using a DVI (which is also digital) to VGA adaptor.

as said by jim, set bios display priority, iplug balik sa imo onboard and set priority to PCI>IGP which means it will detect your card first before going to onboard display
