Best DVD Movie producing software

I usually burn avi movies into a DVD format, I'm currently using Cyberlink Power Producer but I dont like the way it converts the avi to DVD because if the source movie is not a full screen, the software will force the resolution to strech vertically to make it a full screen and output movie will make the characters look so thin and tall...

There seems to be no option to make the output movie retain the resolution of the source movie which what i prefer...

Any advise, comments and suggestions....

you can try adobe premiere, adobe encore or TMPgenc.

TMPGEnc Xpress akong gamit bai. its fast (depende sa hardware nimo) and has a lot of settings to tweak with. You can specify if you want the video to show as a standard 4:3 format (that is full screen with the aspect ratio stretched or not) and 16:9 (for widescreen TVs, you can select to optimize the video for 16:9 display or just plain 4:3). That's just for encoding. For authoring, I either use DVD Lab Pro or Sony DVD Architect.

Bruh, also try Ulead nga mga tools... sa ako adobe premier ako iprefer para sa vid editing then mag burn ko gamit ulead

I do use mac sa office, it's hard to find softwares for mac...

Then the iDVD that comes with the OS is good enough. Otherwise, you can get copy of Final Cut Pro from the mac website.
