Recommend a good SUNBLOCK/SUNSCREEN brand

they say sunscreen protection is a must this summer because you will be protected with those harmful UV rays that can cause skin cancer..so what's a good sunscreen/sunblock brand?

anybody care to explain also about this SPF rating?

i tried hawaiian tropic and nivea.. between the two, i personally prefer nivea.
even if its not summer, its one beauty product you have to apply on your skin to protect it from the heat of the sun.

spf 15 or above nindot gamiton, mas taas spf mas nindot grabe naman gud au init karon.
try kana all in one, kay mostly sunscreen lang, all in one means apil na protection
radiation from aircon, lamps etc. to make the long story short, indoor or outdoor protection...

Nivea their products are really good they also have sunblocks

depende.. depende unsa ka dako, sa brand, kung katung whitening, kung katung cream na moisturizer with spf...
mga 300-500.. mas mahal tung face creams with spf

ok ra na oi kada adlaw gamiton.. mas maayo gani mag butang sunblock kung ma-initan ka kada adlaw. kana ra pud mga exposed skin areas.

photo damage (meaning damage to the skin) is mostly caused by UVA rather than UVB. UBV damages the outer layer of the skin but the UVA can penetrate deeper into the skin causing premature wrinkles and skin cancer and most sunscreen only protect you from UVB. the only sunscreen ingredient proven to protect our skin from UVA is Mexoryl. so kung mo palit gani mog sunscreen/sunblock look for the Mexoryl in the ingredients list. kung walay mexoryl then at least look for Parsol 1789. use sunscreen with at least an SPF of 15 that contains one of these ingredients coz otherwise you're not really as protected as you should be. L'oreal makes sunscreen with mexoryl which i think you can buy in philippines and also La Roche Posay and Vichy but i dont think this brands are available there.
