We are a member of the German Shepherd Dog Federation of the Philippines (GSDF), based in Manila, a member of the (WUSV) World Union of German Shepherds of Augsburg, Germany, which has a 75-country membership throughout the world. The Central Visayas German Shepherd Dog Association was established in 1986 and was the first affiliate of the GSDF Philippines. Our club is dedicated to protect the working heritage of the German Shepherd Dog, and to promote the benefits to our society of a well-trained dog.

Schutzhund (German for ‘protection dog’) tests three specific areas of a dog’s training and behavior, that is: tracking, obedience and protection. We have various activities all year round, i.e. Schutzhund training, Schutzhund trial, show training, Landesgruppen shows, GSD Seminars on buying the right pup, raising, caring, loving and generally making your German Shepherd Dog a part of your family.


Training Schedule:
Wednesday 7pm-9pm - Obedience and Protection, North Town Club House
Sunday 6:30am - Tracking, Cebu Business Park
Sunday 8am-11am - Obedience and Protection, North Town Club House


Membership is OPEN to all German Shepherd Dog Owners in Central Visayas. Training is "free" for all ACTIVE members of the club who is willing and able to come to the field 2x a week for training. The CVGSDA is looking for dedicated members who have the passion for the breed and for the sport of Schutzhund.
