Studies proved that adults diagnosed with ADHD are 3X more likey to suffer from stress, anxiety and depression. An inability to pay attention, concentrate and stay on task equals poor work performance, resulting in a life less likely to succeed in a competitive workplace. Adults with ADHD are more likely to frequently change jobs, meaning they will not recieve pay raises and promotions. Adults with ADHD have higher rates of unemployment, drug addiction and arrests.
Scientific Music Therapy = Natural ADHD Remedy
Concentration and success can be as easy as this!
It makes sense that music could have a positive effect on those with attention deficit disorder. The highly aclaimed Temple University trains music therapists to the Ph.D. level, and their graduates use music therapy in schools, hospitals, prisons, psychiatric facilities, community centers and universities.
ADHD is a brain function impairment, more specifically, it is a “slow wave disorder”. Brainwaves function in several levels; Delta, the frequency level of deep sleep, Theta, the frequency level of deep meditation, Alpha, the frequency level of day dreaming, Beta, the everyday working frequency level, and Gamma, the frequency level of high concentration. Those with ADHD have more of the “slow” brainwaves associated primarily with the Alpha level, and also often have over active right brain hemispheres, and an under active left brain.
Our scientific, ADHD music therapy introduces specific sound frequencies to each side of the brain, using headphones. (We also have headphone-free MP3s). By speeding up the brainwaves, particularly in the left hemisphere, hyperactivity can be reduced. Also, by stimulating the right brain hemisphere with “SMR” (sensory motor response), emotional reactions can be reduced, and improvements in attention and concentration can be achieved easily, without drugs, improving your work performance, your grades, and quality of life!
