GENRE: Blues, Rock, Acoustic.
DESCRIPTION: Plays acoustic gigs for various occasions, and creates experimental music as a full band.
BIOGRAPHY:
Started out as BMC playing gut wrenching metal music. The members of this band except for the Lead vocals are the original members of brigade metal core. Some time in 2010, BMC parted ways and was never heard from for a while. In 2011, Nico Romualdez started doing sessions with Michael Anthony Kindica and started doing a few acoustic gigs in numerous places. After a while they decided to form a band to experiment with their musical influences. They both agreed on getting the members of the short-lived BMC band and started doing sessions. And the story goes on...

CURRENT STATUS:
Greetings!
Purple Kush, the band, will be competing for the 1st Philippine Blues Competition to be held in The Roadhouse, Manila Bay at the SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City this September 21, 2012. And hopefully, we’ll come through the semi-finals, which will be on September 22, 2012 at the same venue. To choose a representative for the 2013 International Blues Challenge, to be held in Memphis January 29-February 2, the Philippine Blues Society will mount the 1st Philippine National Blues Competition to choose the top FOUR bands in the country. First-place winner will earn the right to represent the country in Memphis. On this particular and special day, we would like to ask for your kind assistance and support for the band as we are in need of financial support for our expenses throughout the trip and the competition.
Any amount that will be given to us will be highly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance and may the good Lord shower you more of His blessings in the coming years.
THANK YOU!!!
