As far as I know these are available as accessories in recent Silverstone cases.


Notice the rightmost accessory.

I think this is also available with some Cooler Master cases.

Anyone willing to part with it, I'll buy it for 500Php.

USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0... So you don't need a USB Converter for that. And USB 2.0 can never be converted to USB 3.0 since it goes to the same chip set when it passes to the motherboard's circuitry... You can plug USB 3.0 device to a USB 2.0 port but only utilize the speed of the USB 2.0, exactly the same thing when you plug a USB 2.0 device to a USB 3.0 port.. there is no such thing as converter for this.. Could be an accessories for USB 3.0 extension of the casing for USB 3.0 capable motherboards...

This converter just fits back the 20-pin header of the case back to the USB 2.0's 10-pin header. I have plans putting a relatively old motherboard into a newer case, and it would be bad if I couldn't use the USB ports on the front because I do not have a 20-pin header.

ang gamit ani bro kay if ang imo casing kay USB3.0 ang connection sa front then ang imo mobo kay USB2.0 ang capability.
para magamit ang front usb connection sa casing, gamit ka ana nga converter.

ang uban casing, naa na daan connector for usb2.0 incase wala pay USB3.0 connection imo mobo.

usb 3.0 devices can also be plug in usb 2.0 ports. speed will follow the usb v2 tranfer rate...

Ohhkay, that explains better and it's good to know .. Hope you find one from istoryans, I have a USB 3 capable motherboard but doesn't have extra header for USB 3.0 only the back port. My casing in the other hand has 1 USB 3.0 port in the front panel but doesn't have "that cable" you mention above, instead a blue cable stretched at the back of the casing so i can connect it to available USB 3.0 port.. weird? Check InWin Dragon Slayer it makes me feel stupid...hehehe.. And I think it would be worth it for P500.00 for that said converter, Kay mura'g wala pa na sya sa CDR King...
