Use Google or any other search engine unya i-search ang brand/model sa imo motherboard. It can help you a lot.Originally Posted by jhunric

bro ako na gesuway ug search sa google
pero wala manko kasabot sa uban term gud
kani ra ako nakit-an ay:
The P4VMM2 mainboard uses a mPGA478 Socket that has
the follow ing features:
· Accommodates Intel Pentium 4 478-pins CPU
· Supports a front-side bus (FSB) of 400 MHz
so ma compatible ni siya sa pc400 ddr ram?
help please
Main Memory
2 DDR DIMMs
Supports DDR266 / DDR200
Supports DDR333 (conditional)
2 SDRAM DIMMs
Supports PC133 / PC100
Max. 2GB
So the answer is NO
YES it can though it will run in its native ddr333. This mobo supports SDR and DDR modules.
@ jhunric
There are bunch of pins there aline right beside the memory module slot. You can configure the bunch of pins there to make the mobo compatible with DDR sticks. See its manual for the correct pin configuration. Good Luck
when you say it can support it means the hardware will run on its full capacity. that's why if you look at the official site of the mobo's manufacturer, which i quoted, it says it only supports DDR 266/200 while DDR333 is conditional.Originally Posted by Chipmunk888

@soulripper
so maka support diay ni ug pc100 nga sdram?
naa manko pc100 sdram diri ok lang ba mao ni ako e taud?
naa ko 128mb 2 pcs, diretso rani sak2x ang duha no?
@Chipmonk888
nindot unta na suwayan imo ge suggest bro da, ang naka apan lang kay wala koy pc400 nga ddr ram karon
duha2x sadko ug palit kay basin dli niya compatible
as stated in their website, it supports PC100 SDR... i don't see the point in buying PC400 RAM when your system runs it in lower capacity, say 266 or 333....
i assumed that the thread starter had already the stick. and obviously he is newbie yet so i prefer what he meant by support is if the kind of module shall be compatible or shall run under the said mobo.author=soulripper link=topic=124186.msg2403110#msg2403110 date=1173685399

its not nasayop ang manufacturer but rather not tested with yet. specially the ddr400 which is not yet available when the mobo is released before.
