Hi Istoryans,

Beware of this seller lineage2world with cellphone number 09232131326.

I bought her pspgo today. Unfortunately it's a dead psp go and she no longer replies and can no longer be reached.

Scenario:
I texted her this morning and told her na interested ko with her unit. Around 10 a.m. she replied and said it's still available. Then I asked her if we can meet up somewhere near Jcenter dahil may binili din akong smartbro plug-it from a fellow istoryan. She said malayo daw and jcenter, kung pwede sa grand convention na lang.

So I agreed to meet her at grand convention at 11:30 a.m. today. When she showed me the unit. I asked her bakit ayaw mag-on, sabi lowbat daw hindi na-charge dahil binenta daw nya sa pinsan nya ang charger. nag-asked uli why is she selling it too cheap, baka naman may defect? sabi nya kaya binebenta ng mura dahil walang charger at may malaking gasgas sa screen tapos kailangan lang nya ng pera. She said na ang unit is in working condition and no major defects aside sa malaking gasgas sa screen. Since babae ang seller and from istorya.net , hindi sumagi sa isip ko na lolokohin nya ako.

I went to emall after that I tried to buy a charger, 3 stores na yung napuntahan ko...ayaw talaga mag-charge ng unit. Then I texted her immediately and tried to call her. No replies and she can no longer be reached.

I know it was stupid of me to do that transaction, I was just so excited to buy my son a psp believing it was a good buy. I already bought a lot of items here at very good price and good condition but it is only now I have encountered a problem with a seller tapos babae pa talaga. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and believe her when she told me na walang defect and unit.

I don't know what else to say.... I was just so dissapointed that I cashed out my hard earned money for my sons happiness for nothing....

I'm not sure kung aasa pa ba ako na magrereply pa si lineage2world at ibabalik ang pera ko...


Update as of July 23, 2012 :

Unit has been fixed at Freesoul JCenter Mall, Mandaue. Due to a lot of damage resistors, capacitors and fuse the repair cost me Php 1,500. I know freesoul charge me right, I've seen the board when I had it checked at emall, the board was really wasted because of the previous repair it has gone through before I even bought it (I guess that's why the technician from emall said it's unrepairable) .

Though the unit is okay now, however it's still not worth the value of the money I spent on it.
Repair cost me 1500 (freesoul) + 200 (console store in Emall) and another 300 for the charger.

From this point, I'll move on... it seems there's no chance that lineage2world will return my money and pay my wasted time and effort.

I've learned my lesson, and hope other members will also learn from this bad experience I've been through.

If the seller really intended to deceive you, I think it would be difficult, if not impossible, to retrieve your money nah. IMO, best thing to do here is to visit a repair shop to check if the item can be repaired in some way.

Bogus sellers are now rampant in Istorya.net. That is why we buyers should be careful and make sure that we test the item thoroughly, make sure the item is working before the purchase and, if need be, ask for a valid ID from the seller or take a picture of him/her just in case something goes the wrong way.

Charge it to experience nalang bro. It's just money. I know it's hard-earned money but, eventually, you will earn it back. The valuable thing here is the lesson. Gabaan rana ang mga mangingilad.

Sorry for your loss bro, but when it comes to buying gadgets and electronic stuff, even in store clerks, never immediately believe what they say. everyone has a capacity to lie, even the most unlikely ones.

Bro, I feel your loss as well. I'm so sorry that you got scammed. My advice is the same as the others above, just have it checked and see if it's still repairable and do hope that you'll get it to work.

I'm also a buyer and seller in ISTORYA. As a buyer, I always (and I do mean always) have the item checked and tested by me personally. Basta 100% testing gyud before purchase. Price is just one thing but ultimately it is the condition of the item that matters the most IMO. I get to the minor details of the item before forking over the money--A MUST FOR CONSUMER ITEMS. I think mau sad siguro ngano kung akong palagan usahay nganhi nga seller about his/her items specs. or condition and get no reply OR replied something irrelevant that's usually the case AND know something's up. I do my research beforehand so that I could never be 'cheated' upon.

As a Seller, I always (ALWAYS) have the intent of having the item tried and tested by the buyer 100%. I give full-guarantee that my item is never broken or is not defected and have him/her meet me personally. I never do a hit-and-run scheme, never. I also tell my buyer if that certain item is either refurbished or brand new--I never never EVER try to cheat off my buyers. To me, cheating on a certain item's price or condition only makes the deal sour and nothing is achieved if I did do it. However I also try to observe the buyer's way of testing my item kay basin siya ra sad makaguba. Not to be strict and all but I do remind the buyer to test it carefully without molesting my item. MY advice FOR ALL Istoryans, you have to be on your guard when dealing with these things. You have to trust your instincts and never fall for easy-talkers. Do some research on your items and be on your guard para ma-iwasan ang kaning mga ahak nga sellers. I hope this would never happen again to another unsuspecting consumer kay bati gyud kau naa pay mabiktima ania.
