ADATA Introduced a new high-performance 8 GB (2x 4 GB) dual-channel DDR3-2400 MHz memory kit, under its XPG Gaming v2.0 series. The kit is optimized for Intel "Ivy Bridge" Core processors, and comes at an attractive price.
The new XPG Gaming v2.0 series modules ship with an Intel XMP 1.3 profile, which runs them at PC3-19200 (DDR3-2400 MHz) speed, with 10-12-12-31T DRAM timings, and at DRAM voltage of 1.65V. The module feature active heatsinks that dissipate heat using aluminum fins. The modules use 8-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs), with 2 oz copper layers to improve signalling efficiency, and help spread heat. The XPG Gaming v2.0 series 8 GB memory kit from ADATA started selling in US and Canada, at a price of US $89.99.
