PhotoAssignment #2 - July 16 - July 31, 2012

RULES OF THE CONTEST :

* Only 1 winner will be selected on this contest
* You may enter ONLY 1 Photo.
* No inappropiate photos!
* PP is allowed, except adding and removing of elements
* B&W/Sepia/Tonal Contrast is allowed
* No watermarks and signature
* Submit your entry via email only. send to me@michaelocana.com with the following info :
- name and istorya.net username
- short description/caption
- exif (ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed, etc)
- camera and lens used for the entry
- failure to include, will automatically disqualify your entry

Photos MUST be taken during the assigned time period!
- July 16 to July 23

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
1. Relevance to the Theme - 40%
2. Image quality - 25%
3. Composition - 20%
4. Originality - 15%

Theme : NEGATIVE SPACE
- Negative space defines and emphasizes the main subject of a photo, drawing your eye to it. It provides "breathing room", giving your eyes somewhere to rest and preventing your image from appearing too cluttered with "stuff". All of this adds up to a more engaging composition.
- When used properly, negative space provides a natural balance against the positive space in a scene. Getting this balance right is tricky and rather subjective, but it's something you'll get better at with time and practice.

PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ENTRIES IN ANY SITE. Let's maintain the no name and anonymous entries.
