How to go to pilar, camotes islands

Hi everyone. Am planning to go to Pilar, Camotes Island this weekend and I can't seem to find any means of going to Pilar from Danao. Danao to San Francisco or Poro is not a problem but getting to Pilar is. Someone suggested we go to Leyte and take the ferry from there but I think this will be inconvenient and expensive. Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance and may the Force be with you!

Get yourself to the Tudela wharf. The boat (JUNMAR) that regularly plies the route from Ormoc to Pilar usually goes all the way to Tudela then back to Pilar and then Ormoc. You can ride that return trip, Tudela-Pilar.
