Default Mandaue City - Flood Capital of the Philippines

Sad to say, after many, many, many years of passing thru Mandaue, I observed that there really has been no improvement at all in its drainage problem.

Just a few minutes ago, there was a slight torrential downpour and I happened to pass through Mandaue. Guess what, the very brief downpour has resulted to 3 floods in Mandaue highway. Sadly, it does not end there. A.S. Fortuna also has 2 sections flooded.

If you happen to live anywhere in Mandaue or any other place where you have to go through Mandaue and AS Fortuna and you have a vehicle that lies low to the ground, good luck to you!

I hope that the City Government of Mandaue would stop squabbling about nonsensical political issues and start working on the basic needs of its citizens.

Feel free to add other areas of Mandaue that is prone to flooding as well.

have you been to other flood prone cities in the philippines? can you give us specifics why mandaue is the flood capital than the others..

AS fortuna is having its drainage system done. including guizo. dont you think the government is working? drainage systems doesnt sprout on a blink of an eye, neither grow overnight. it takes sweat, and stinks to build.
