Ok kaayo ang Ubuntu.

Stable ang Ubuntu.

Sayon siya gamiton.

Advantages :
1. its FREE
2. kay lisud maka-virus
3. daghan mga apps na free like open-office
4. wala siyay registry compared sa Windows,

Disadvantages
1. Dili ka dula ug mga games.

Ubuntu is ok.
Update patches are always available, much like like windows update.
Usability is ok if your a newbie with the linux flavored OS.
Patience is needed when configuring devices on your box, device drivers are somewhat tricky to find.

I would really like to have a copy of their server version though. hehehe!

Its free, safe, stable and simple OS.

Dis: Program suport is not as wide as windows. Uses cooperative multitasking code same as used in windows 98.

ang ila drivers for your vcard... dli kaayo ka support sa Direct 3D... hinay kaayo ang games... like sa starcraft lng... gaan bya unta na cya pero lag kaayo

so far so good.. of all the linux distros... ubuntu is the best for me.. i have the latest version of ubuntu karon which is feisty fawn 7.04 desktop version.

according to a friend mavirusan lang gihapon ang ubuntu pero lahi man sila ug environment so lahi pod ang applications.then bata pa ang ubuntu so dili pa jud siya ing ana ka stable.and its free mao ra na ang iyang advantage.i think it would take years pa para ma appreciate siya ug ordinary computer users.kay sa games lang daan alkansi na kay dili siya ka support ug mga online games.maayo lang siya ug internet kay makabrowse man ka using firefox.

Actually ang cooperative multitasking is much more better than XP and windows 98.

Actually, ang virus is also a program. Any OS ma-virusan lang. Ang dako siya ug advantage dili ma-virusan kay inig download nimo sa mga programs ang website kay mag-butang man siya ug file signutures (i.e. MD5SUM, SHA1SUM) na ma-compare nimo sa imong file gi-download ug sa website. Second, pa gyud kung dili ka salig sa site imong gi-download naa man pud siya source code. Na which you can compile it with yourself and check sa mga codes.

In terms pud sa games, karon wala pa mga games kay during sa ilang development kay windows platform ra man.
