As the title says, I'm planning to start a cafe that will offer coffee, tea (milk tea), and snacks. Sure na jud ko ani cause I've been thinking about it for a few months na. Naa nalang jud gamay issues na I need to solve before ko mu go through sa akong project, basin naa moy ma share diha. mau ni ang current problems nako:
- Where can I get professional barista training? I need this for product development. Akong options kay muad2 ko ug manila for a few weeks or mu palit ko daan ug machine then mag hire og professional barista to provide me 1on1 training. Wa jud koy nakit.an na muhatag ug short course ani diri sa cebu, and di kau ko mu favor sa tesda.
- Are there any good roasters, tea powder suppliers, and equipment suppliers based in Cebu? Kung wala, would it be ok to find one from other parts of the Philippines?
- I need more info on milk tea. Would it be good to provide both coffee and milk tea? Or, mas nindot if mufocus lang sa usa? Ang coffee kay staple na jd siya but ang milk tea kay mas maka bira ug customers, especially nga naa koy mga competition duul sa akong location. (pending lng sa ni na proj.. still need to think more about this..)
So far mau na akong biggest hurdles. Na set na nako ang budget, naa napud ko prospect location, naka buhat na ko sa analysis sa target market (basing on the location), and naa na koy concept. Di lang jud ko ka move forward. Target date unta nako is late august to early september.
