Among the updates:
- Tight security for Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama's state of the city address (SOCA), which is on going right now at the Plaza Sugbo. Aside from the uniformed and non-uniformed policemen deployed in the venue, two policemen from SWAT (snipers) were deployed at the rooftop of the MCWD building. - Mayor Michael Rama announced that senior citizens will be getting P4,000 on December this year after the distribution of P3,000 each last month. Which means, that senior citizens can get a total of P7,000 this year. Rama announced that on 2013, another P3,000 will be added, so a total of P10,000 financial benefits. And in the following year, another P2,000 will be added or P1,000/month will be given to senior citizens. Earlier he said, the city will give out glasses to each of the senior citizens. "Nganong masuya man sila nga kitang tanan mahimo man nga senior citizens?"
- Mayor Michael Rama criticized the person (obviously referring to Tomas Osmena) who proposed for the closure of thge CCMC. "Asa naman paingon ang mga pobre? Then he asked the crowd "Uyon ba mo nga ipasira ang CCMC?" the crowd said "dili". Rama also criticized the plan that Guba Hospital will be co-managed by the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, saying the terms and conditions in the MOA are highly questionable. Though he only referred those responsible as the father and daughter , but he obviously criticized former Rep. Raul del Mar and daughter Cutie del Mar.
- Mayor Michael Rama announced that he did not agree on the anti-corporal punishment ordinance and will veto it. He said the ordinance is anti-poor.
