    Default Setting Permissions on Shared Drive or Folder in a local network


    Guys ask lang unta ko ninyo, if possible pa nga ang shared drive/folder sa usa ka computer mabutangan ug permission nga ang maka.access is a server computer lang... currently setting up a net cafe network here, mao nahan unta ko e.share ang drive nga directory sa installed games, kay in para mapadali ang update sa mga patch/updates sa duwa. Bali makita ang shared drives sa network pinaagi sa ubang computer but prohibited sila pag.access ani nga drive/folder except sa server computer...Thanks daan...

    your question, is it possible? YES! you can configure that on the windows share settings.

    note: windows share sucks bro...

    Thanks sa reply sir...my next question is how? nagtry man gud ko ug share sa folder/drive then naa option sa permission but so far wala nako magapagana ang akong g.mention sa babaw nga bali ang maka.access ug modify is a ang server computer lang....

    unsa man OS gamit nimo sir? XP or WIN7? if Win7 mas dali ang pagset sa imo nahan na outcome...

    saun ra...right click folder,properties,sharing then permission...ayaw i full control ang everyone then add your computer server to that...apil sad sa security,the same process.
