The Surface may come with a nifty keypad, a Touch Cover, and a kickstand, but does it come with a better battery life compared to the iPad? Computer World’s Gregg Keizer thinks the Surface won’t match up to the iPad in battery life. The surface is listed with 31.4Wh of battery power as compared to the iPad’s 42.5Wh. The battery capacity of the RT Surface is 25% less than the iPad’s, which puts the Surface at about two-and-a-half-hours less (7.5 hours) than the iPad’s battery life (10 hours).Although evidence may suggest the estimate is accurate, iFixit’s Kyle Wiens added that there are still too many “unknowns” with regard to the Surface.
