you need to go to DSWD for travel permit sa bata.

Hmmm I don't think you have to get a DSWD permit if one of the parent is coming with the kid. Especially that you bear the same family name, right? I have been travelling outside PI with my cousins (minors: toddlers, kiddos) having only their moms or sometimes their dads only or both. I don't see any problem with that.

yep, it's true. But it's also better to be prepared in case IO will ask for such documents.
