disable windows Indexing Search service in your Services.msc, hide all Microsoft Services in Startup items tab in MSCONFIG and disable all Non-MS startups and restart your computer.

Also, do try running a scan with your existing Antivirus program to check for any rootkit virus... just in case lang.
