Filipino Mangakas anyone?

12 pages nga leaf ako buot pasabot.. so a total of 24 pages.. sorry.. basin mamis-understand ninu.. ><

try nyo read Bakuman (author sa death note) kay makarelate jud mga mangakas. anyways kung naa man gani filipino version nga mangaka... they should have a proper name for it.... and not mangaka. hehehe mas cool di ba? i'm still hoping our filipino artist can compete with manga internationally.

depende if naa na storyboard... scanning and doing things digitally might help speed up the process but definitely storyboard!

pffffftt.... i made a one shot manga.. 40 pages.. criticized: irregular story, no proper story structure, character attitude: not consistent, emotions too shallow. in short, ok ra mag drawing pero when it comes to story its difficult.. if you want to see some of my 1 shot arts, i can show you some.. for others ayaw na kay part na sila sa akoang one shot manga...

aw mao diay na ang tawag nila dire boss? wala ko idea. hehehe why not shorten it to FIlcoma, Ficoma, Famicom, manficom etchetera. Lets make it sound cooler. (something easy to remember) hehehe.

kaya ra siguro bay oi. kulang lang investors and genius authors. i really think there is a Pinoy or Pinoys out there who are capable of writing a good story for a comic. It need not be manga-like style but pinoy-style. It has to be pinoy style. I missed the days of the pinoy comics (there were a lot of good comics way back 80s and 90s) i don't know why they disappeared.

^^ i know one who's done many and he's prolly one of the many active filipinos who
doodles for marvel. but that's where we stop. they don't make their own comics/manga, let alone
the story-making thing.
