Need help on my DIY c02 tank (planted aquarium)

Mga fellow istoryans naa ko prob diri. Naa koy diy c02 tank pero 3 days nay ni labay wa gihapon ni produce ug c02. Ang ingun sa mga master diri kay after 1hr mag start na daw ang production pero wala man gihapon akoang c02......

Pwede ko mangayo ug instructions aron dali cya mo produce ug c02?

Mayng gabii sir. Ako i-share akong tested and proven DIY mixture.

Brown sugar 1/2 kilo (preferrably SM brand brown sugar)
Active dry yeast (preferrably from Caro & Marie brand, if wala, ok ra bisan asa as long as dili hupas)
1 empty bottle 1.5liter coke/sprite (with cap nga naa nay hose naka attach para sa check valve padung tank)

First, boil tap water mga 1 cup then dissolve tanan brown sugar. Let it cool para dili ma lumping ang 1.5 liter bottle.
Then ibutang nimu sa 1.5 liter bottle, dugangi ug tap water (mas nindot mcwd water) until 3/4 full ang bottle.
Add a pinch (about 1/4 teaspoon) active dry yeast. You don't have to shake it.
It should produce bubbles in a few hours.

Key ingredient, Brown sugar, kanang sa SM, Save More. Others have a lot of success using Muscovado(?) but haven't tried it.

My mixture would go about 7-9 days.

Maybe i will buy liquid c02 drops lang usa as a temporary remedy if ever ma palpak nasad ko..

After 1hr sir mo produce na ba na siya ug bubbles?

Sir okay ra ba ug dili lang brown sugar from sm and yeast from caro? I reside in talisay man gud and layo kaayo ba hehe okay ra if yeast kanang sa merkado lang? Kanang gi pack nga tag 2 pesos?

In an hour, murag dili pa dayon, it would depend sa temperature pud. The more init ang room temp, faster and kusog ang bubbles but dali rapud ma hurot ang sugar sa mixture. If aircon, or tingtugnaw, dili kaayo kusog ang bubbles.

there are 3 reasons why.

1. your yeast might be dead. avoid buying yeast knang menudo. chances are old stock na na patay na ang yeast
2. the co2 bottle or tube might not be sealed properly and air is leaking. wala na sakto epoxy ang mga buslot.
3. the water used to dilute the yeast and sugar mixture might be too high. and killed the yeast on contact. "if ever you used warm water to prepare the solution"

the after market co2 diffuser needs considerable amount of pressure.it would take as long as half a day for the first bubble to come out. after that if you try to squeeze the bottle and if it's soft and you see formation of foam and bubbles inside the bottle chances are your solution is working but there are leaks. if no foam and bubbles present chances are the yeast is dead.

i used to do planted tanks before. diy co2 takes some time to get used to and you learned from experience.

akong yeast gikan raba tos merkano sir. hahahaha
ang c02 bottle kay akoa man gi glue gun sir okay ra baka ha na or needed jud ang epoxy?
tap water raman to akoa gi gamit sir

sir i tried squeezing the bottle, dli kaayo ingun nga soft pero gahi2 nuon siya nya naay bubbles pero wala juy foam. naay bubbles nga padulong sa sides sa container. yeast ang patay ani noh?
