Notes before proceeding:
-In order to make this tutorial effective, you must have a mid level of knowledge about android phones.
-You must be familiar with your own device.
-The thread title does not mean it this tutorial cannot be apply to other android phones. I only indicate that this tutorial is only for LG P500 because I only tested this on this unit.
-This tutorial is fully tested by me. I own the phone used as the subject of this tutorial and I haven't experienced any failure or damage, so I can say it is 100% full working.
-If you attempt to try this on other android unit do it @ your own risk. Be careful.
-I only intend to help you with this tutorial. I am not responsible of anything if you break your phone. So please follow instructions.


How this tutorial works?
-First you must have a phone with a baked ROM installed, like those unofficial ROM's you download and flash to your android device.
-This tutorial is about restoring the original ROM of your device you so it means you have to accept the the result of this tutorial after you have done it successfully: you phone will be unroot, The flash recovery will be removed, Android Froyo 2.2 will be updated to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. If you agree with this we can now proceed.

Files/Things you need:

LG P500
Must be fully recharge, we need a stable power during the process, If the power is interrupted, it may cause damage to the phone.

Instructions:
[1] Extract the downloaded file on your desktop or anywhere you want.( I prefer desktop so that I can access it easily.)

[2] Open the KDZ Folder to your desktop and Right click on the "KDZ_FW_UPD.exe" and click run as administrator (full admin. access is required to make this tutorial work and you fail to follow this 2nd instruction you will only experience failure.)

[3] Open the "Original firmware" folder and run it, type the serial number on the blank form entry. You can find you serial number on the back of you phone, remove the battery and look for the sticker attached to you phone,. If you fail to launch this software, you will have to install net. framework 4.0, just open your browser and type net. framework 4.0. Download it and install. After this you can run this software,


[4] After you typed down the serial number of your device click save and just save it on you desktop. Wait until it is finished.

[5] After the download lets go back to "KDZ_FW_UPD.exe" follow the settings on the image below except for the KDZ file.


[6] On the KDZ file click the folder icon and browse the file you downloaded from "Original firmware" (default file name is "V20G_00.kdz". (it is located on your desktop if you follow my instructions)

[7] Go to your phone's setting and enable USB debugging. After that plug in your USB but DO NOT turn on mass storage just leave it. Now if you have successfully sone this, we can now proceed.

[8] Hit the "Launch Software Update" button.

[9] If the results are the same then you are successful of doing it. It takes 5-10 minutes to complete the process. It will reboot and you're done!


Extra Notes:
-If you are stuck at the boot logo for about 30 minutes remove the battery and try again.
-Also apply some shaking methods(sounds crazy but really works).
