Chevrolet optra resale value too cheap?

Why is it there are too many Chevrolet optra on sale at buy and sell section. Price ranges from 200k to 250k which is way too cheap for a 2004 and 2006 model. Is there an issue with these models? Or a high cost for maintaining this car is the real reason? Please share what you think is the reason for this?

the earlier optra's have a serious defect on it's ecu. chevrolet was slow in taking action. some problems on the parts abound some issue with premature failure of some components. fuel pumps,radiator etc.
when the improved optra was released in the market fixing most of the quirks of the ecu i guess it was too little too late. na stigma na sa mga would be buyers ang optra. afterall the optra is nothing more than a rebadged daewoo.

when chevy entered the market in the early 00's the quality was not as great like it is today. resale value was pretty low considering there were better 2nd hand cars in the market.

I find the price tempting since for a 2006 opra cost only 250k. I was actually thinking there is a huge reason behind it. Too bad, it could have been a great car.

Just my thought, siguro because kini nga model is korean made man gud.. ang nag.manufacture and assemble ani is GMDAT( General Motors & Daewoo AutoTechnology) sa korea... so korean made jud ni siya. Same ra sa Aveo.. and some models sa GM.. Patent lng ni siya sa GM. oh i forgot, Spark also. Im not sure if mao jud ni reason why ubos kaau ug resale value ang optra, maybe lang.

d man pud luoy boss. or maybe that some buyers don't include resale value in buying a car. there are some brands or even car models that holds great resale value and some very poor resale value ie. cherry, optra. alto, spark, the old aveo, getz, proton, expeditions etc

d pa ka ana TS you get good value alone from the low selling price. but then again if ever you wll be planning to sell it again ten that's another problem.

Sakto gyud ka boss. Although Nindot ipalit sa ka ubos sa resale value pero mga duha duha na nuon ko Kay tingali naa hidden defects

- very expensive spare parts (oil filter is 1.4k, timing belt is 7k+, compressor is 45k+)
- very bad fuel consumption (8km / L)
- not competitive casa technician/personnel (bang-a kaayo bisan completo sa gamit like computer fault detector, mura ra gehapon ug nagtagnatagna)
- no replacement parts available the market, only orig parts at casa but very expensive

Mahal gyud tinuod daw ang spare parts and casa ra makapalit. Paeta walay lain option ang owner sa optra Ana. Saysngs pud nice rsba ug porma ang optra.
