There have been a fair bit of rumours about a Google Nexus tablet going around as of lately and now some more detailed rumours have appeared. The 7-inch Nexus tablet is aid to be produced by Asus and it's expected to start shipping next month.Digitimes is reporting that Google has partnered up with Asus for the new tablet and some 600,000 units are said to be shipping to Google next month for a July introduction into the market. Not much is known about the new tablet, but it could potentially be the cheap 7-inch model that Asus Asus showed off back at CES and which the company claimed was going to cost US$249.If that's the case, then we're looking at a Tegra 3 based piece of kit, but according to Digitimes, whatever product Google and Asus are co-operating on was meant to ship in May, but was delayed due to being too expensive. We'll just have to wait and see, as maybe Asus will let something slip at Computex in early June, but we'll know for certain once Google decides to announce the product, be it in July or at some later point in the year.Source: Digitimes
