    Toshiba Singapore launches new notebooks and glasses-free 3D TV by VR-Zone.com

    The new Toshiba Qosmio X870 is designed unique Toshiba Black Widow finish, superb performance and audio quality for the for gaming enthusiasts. It is powered by the third generation Intel Quad-Core processor, the latest Nvidia GTX670M graphics (with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM) and 32GB RAM, which should be sufficient to handle most intensive applications and games. It has a 3D-enabled 17.3-inch full high definition (HD) display, and supports the latest Nvidia 3D Vision active shutter glasses and Nvidia LightBoost technology for immersive 3D viewing experience. The Qosmio X870 also comes equipped with two Harman Kardon stereo speakers, Blu-ray disc player and HDMI connector that lets you stream 3D content from the portable machine to a 3D-capable TV.The Toshiba Qosmio X870 will be available from June in South East Asia with starting price from S$3,699 (inclusive of GST), depending on configurations.
    The new Toshiba Satellite M800, L800 and C800 claim to offer smarter productivity, better enjoyment and portability to consumers. The stylish laptops are available in wide range of configurations, screen sizes and colors. All the new Satellite models now come with at least one USB 3.0 port, Bluetooth 4.0, PC Health Monitor and Toshiba's eco Utility that helps to conserve power. The Satellite M800 has a starting price of S$1,199with choice of Intel Core i3-2350M 2.3GHz, i5-2450M 2.5GHz or i7-3612QM 2.1GHz processor; the Satellite L800 has a starting price of S$1,099 with choice of i3-2350M 2.3GHz or i5-2450M 2.5GHz processor; and the Satellite C800 has a starting price of S$869 with Intel Core i3-2350M 2.3GHz processor.

    The 55-inch Toshiba 55RZ1 claims to be the first large screen glasses-free 3D TV in Asia that can deliver immersive 3D viewing experience, as well as displays 2D content at Quad full HD resolution. According to a spokesperson from Toshiba, the optimal distance from the TV for glasses-free 3D experience is between 1.9 to 2.1m. The 55RZ1 also features a face tracking application that can detect viewer's position and set up alignment for better viewing. The Toshiba 55RZ1 will go on retail at end of May in most Asian countries.

    The company has also unveiled their new POWER TV series of LED-backlit TVs that has narrow bezel design and supports full HD resolution. Available in 23-, 32- and 40-inch screen sizes, the POWER TV series incorporates the new REGZA ENGINE for superb image and audio quality. The PB200 series will be available this month. Pricing for the Toshiba 55RZ1 and Power TV series will be announced closer to retail date.
