Default Re: it is possible to connect 1 router in 2 internet source provider (ISP)

Hi guys's can somebody help me, Actually, We subcribed 2 ISP in the office network connection which is ( DHCP - skycable and 1 Static - PLDT ) all clients including laptops ( 20 units ) inside the office were connected to SKY CABLE this was configured using Scientific Atlanta modem (1 port) to MAC apple router (4ports) to ASSANTE 3534 switch (24ports), all of this clients were directly connected to the ASSANTE switch port and configured as a DHCP inside our network. On the other connection (PLDT), we have only 1 static IP address available and it was configured in our server using modem DLS to the server. since our DSL package is only Small Biz Elite and have only one static IP allowed. as of now We really in need 1 static IP address for our FTP connection. my question is, how can i get 1 static IP address from PLDT DLS using the configuration of router apple mac connected from the other ISP (skycable)? could it be possible? if then so, pls help us.

But if we need to upgrade this from our package Small Biz Elite 1 static IP only to small biz jr. 5 statics IP is allowed, how could be posible to connect this to mac apple router since the router belongs to the skycable (ISP) connetion. please any inputs? hope you can help me.

    thank you!

You will need separate router for your PLDT DSL connection. As i've understand your posts, your SKYCABLE connection is preconfigured from skycable and connected to your 20 clients/workstations. Para less hassle pud, buy lang separate router for that and then you can configure all you want from there.

Hope this will help you out.

Have you heard about load balancing router? Two ISP into one router. If one fails, the other ISP will take over.

BTW, is it possible that you can draw your network topology?

we only need simple set-up in our network office connection, we don't need redundancy/fail-over connection from both connections,
i am just curious if could it be possible to integrate 2 ISP in one router simultaneously. if can? how? BTW, were using TIME CAPSULE mac router 2gb. what are the commands that we need to use in router? thank you guy's in advance acknowledgment concerning on my problem.

The simplest one you can setup is what @boom_box suggested, you only need the load balancer router, here are some of it which I believed available in local computer shops Products - Welcome to TP-LINK D-Link 4-Port Load Balancing Router

As I posted, Balancing router should fit to your needs.

BTW, If possible post or draw a simple diagram topology of your network so that we could actually understand clearly your network.
