Help! ..questions about ghosts....

I have this curiousity... how come almost all ghost stories we hear, is concerning a man wearing barong, polo, or any modern clothes... or in the case of women, ghost women always wear something white.. or any clothes (modern or classical)..

But HOW COME I never heard of a ghost coming from the PRE SPANISH period?! Diba, those persons back then wear only bahag, some even naked...
If ghost DO exist? How come I never heard of a ghost wearing a BAHAG, like Lapulapu? Or a ghost of a caveman.. wearing nothing?

@Sanosuke, basically most spiritualists agree that ghosts are the remnants/residues of people who have died as victims of violent crimes and those who have unfinished moral business. They remain here 'restless' like the stains of a strong emotion. Usually, its either hate or grief.

During the pre-colonial period, people had a different spiritual culture and a different attitude towards death. Believing in anima, they understood that all is one, one is all.

I would like to believe that our primitive ancestors did not fear death because they naturally understood it and accept it simply as part of a cycle with Life. In other words, 'victim' wasn't a part of their moral vocabulary.

People died of violence yes but it was a part of the warrior culture. To die in battle was an honorable way to leave this earth. And if these souls felt bad about it, I'm sure they would inform their relatives to avenge their untimely deaths and resolve the matter with blood as soon as possible.

maybe because sa orientation sa mga tao regarding ghosts that they are scary, bad and unpleasant..blah blah blah....

but I myself.. ambot lang sa tinood lang... mas mahadlok ko og in FLESH as in Buhing tao ..... am not afraid of the dark nor of being alone.

why are we scared of ghosts? becuz hell, they look so scary..ikaw makakita ug white lady dili ka modagan?..anything out of the ordinary is scary...
