I have a friend who wanted to sell his BB Playbook and replace it with a kindle fire because of the absence of a good ebook reader. He liked everything about it but his primary need for the unit was missing. There were rumours that a kindle app was coming but it hasn't.

I read on it and found ways to do it provided you have a PC. I borrowed his playbook, toyed around with it and in around 20 minutes...it was done! No need to root or jailbreak your gadget.

Now his playbook is also a kindle fire!

If any of you are interested to do the same, just read forums. Im willing to do it for you on my spare time but it's not often than I have spare time. PM me
