    Default Thermaltake's Level 10 M mouse goes to 11

Last week at CeBIT, Thermaltake officially unveiled the Level 10 M mouse which the company co-designed with BMW Designworks USA to much fanfare and the feature laden mouse does stand out from the crowd in more than one way. Sadly Thermaltake wasn't ready for hands on time, but we did at least manage to snap a couple of shots of the new mouse.
At 147x67.5x39mm (DxWxH) it's quite a chunky mouse, albeit with a fairly low profile despite its looks. It's both deeper and wider than your average Logitech gaming mouse, but it stands over half a centimetre less tall. The unusual split-level design with an aluminium base makes the Level 10 M quite eye catching, although according to Thermaltake it's there for more than looks, as it's meant to help dissipate heat, although we're not entirely sure from what.
That said, the mouse has been designed to keep your palm nice and cool thanks to an air vent on the left hand side of the mouse. Just below the air vent is a Ttesports logo which glows when the mouse is in use. The top of the mouse is as far as we can tell adjustable five degrees to the left or the right to allow for a more comfortable fit depending on your preference.
Besides the regular mouse buttons and the scroll wheel the Level 10 M also has five additional buttons that are programmable and there's 128kB of on board memory for storing up to five different profiles. The default DPI settings are setting to 800, 1600, 3200 and 5000 DPI, but the mouse can go all the way up to 8200 DPI, currently the highest on offer, but we heard that several of Thermaltake's competitors are already working on mice that are capable of 8200 DPI.
Thermaltake will be offering the Level 10 M in three different colours, black, white and "military" green and judging by the three models on display at the show, the white model is glossy. The USB cable is also attached in a rather unusual way which you can just see in one of the pictures above. Sadly Thermaltake didn't announce a price or availability, but we'll follow up with more details as and when we know more.Source: Thermaltake
